Tone Adjustment

Change the tone of your message to match the situation

The Tone action rewrites your message in a different communication style while preserving the content.

How to Use

  1. Type your message in the editor
  2. Open AI Actions → Change Tone
  3. Select the desired tone
  4. The rewritten message replaces the original

Default Tone

If you don't select a tone, the system resolves it automatically:

  1. Your saved default tone in AI Preferences
  2. The active assistant's configured tone
  3. Falls back to Professional

You can set a default tone in the AI Preferences bar so it's used automatically every time.

Example

Original: "Hey, your order is late. We're looking into it."

  • Professional: "Thank you for your patience. We are currently investigating the delay in your order and will provide an update shortly."
  • Casual: "Hey there! Your order is running a bit behind — we're on it and will let you know soon!"
  • Formal: "We acknowledge the delay in your order fulfillment. Our team is investigating the matter and will provide a status update at the earliest convenience."

Any {{variable}} placeholders in your text are preserved exactly as-is.
