Tone Adjustment
Change the tone of your message to match the situation
The Tone action rewrites your message in a different communication style while preserving the content.
How to Use
- Type your message in the editor
- Open AI Actions → Change Tone
- Select the desired tone
- The rewritten message replaces the original
Default Tone
If you don't select a tone, the system resolves it automatically:
- Your saved default tone in AI Preferences
- The active assistant's configured tone
- Falls back to Professional
You can set a default tone in the AI Preferences bar so it's used automatically every time.
Example
Original: "Hey, your order is late. We're looking into it."
- Professional: "Thank you for your patience. We are currently investigating the delay in your order and will provide an update shortly."
- Casual: "Hey there! Your order is running a bit behind — we're on it and will let you know soon!"
- Formal: "We acknowledge the delay in your order fulfillment. Our team is investigating the matter and will provide a status update at the earliest convenience."
