Messaging Channels

Connect external messaging platforms to your Wexio inbox

Messaging channels let you connect external platforms — like Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Viber — directly to your Wexio inbox. Once connected, all incoming messages from a channel appear alongside your other conversations, and your team can reply without leaving Wexio.

Each channel creates a separate integration (multi-bot support), so you can connect multiple accounts or phone numbers from the same platform.

Pausing & Resuming

Any channel integration can be paused to temporarily stop receiving messages from that channel. While paused:

  • No new incoming messages are delivered to your inbox
  • You cannot send outbound messages through the channel
  • The connection remains configured — no need to re-authenticate

To resume, toggle the channel back on and messages will start flowing again immediately.
