organisation.deleted

Emitted when a partner deprovisions a managed client organisation

type: organisation.deleted

Fired when a tech provider tears down one of its managed client organisations.

This event does not reach a normal organisation's webhook. It is delivered only to the partner's fan-out webhook - the child organisation's own connections are about to be wiped along with the rest of its data, so there would be nothing left to deliver to.

If you are not a tech provider, you can subscribe to this event but will never receive it. See the tech-provider webhook docs for the provider-side shape.

When it fires

  • A partner deprovisions a managed client org.

It fires before the deletion cascade runs, so the child org still resolves for fan-out.

data shape

type Data = {
  organisationId: string;
  externalId: string | null; // the partner's own id for the client, or null
};

Example envelope

{

  "type": "organisation.deleted",

    "externalId": "crmco-client-5541"
  },
  "meta": {
    "eventId": "evt_01JV4QQT6EDK9P2US8F7A0J3NY",

    "apiVersion": "2026-04-01",

}

Note the envelope here carries partnerId and externalId in meta and no connectionId - that is the partner fan-out shape, not the per-connection shape. See Envelope & Delivery.

Notes

  • The cascade deletes the client's chats, messages and contacts, but does not emit a chat.deleted or contact.deleted per row. This single event is the whole signal - clean up your mirror in one pass.
  • Because it is emitted before the cascade, it can arrive ahead of the deprovisioning call's own response. Do not assume the data is already gone when you receive it.
