Transcript Download
Let a visitor save a conversation as a text file
A visitor can download a conversation as a plain-text file and keep it - useful when they need a record of what was agreed, or want to forward it.
How a Visitor Downloads One
Open the conversation, then the More menu in the header, and choose Download transcript. The file saves straight to their device - no email step and no account needed.
What the File Contains
A readable .txt transcript, not a data dump:

Messages from your AI assistant are attributed as Operator in the transcript, the same as a human reply. The visitor's own messages are You.
Long Conversations
Only the most recent messages are included when a conversation is long. The transcript says so explicitly with a note that it has been truncated, so the visitor is never misled into thinking they have the whole history.
Notes
- The transcript is generated in the widget from the messages it has loaded, so it reflects the conversation as the visitor can see it.
- Internal operator notes are never in it - they are not visible to the visitor anywhere.
- It is per conversation. A visitor with several conversations downloads each one separately.
