Audio Recording
Record and send voice messages directly from the editor
The editor includes a built-in voice recorder for sending audio messages without leaving the inbox.
Recording
Click the microphone icon in the editor to start recording:
- Record — Click mic to start recording
- Pause — Pause the recording and resume later
- Resume — Continue recording from where you left off
Waveform Visualizer
During recording, a real-time waveform visualization shows audio levels, helping you confirm your microphone is picking up sound.
Playback Preview
Before sending, you can review your recording:
- Play/Pause — Listen to what you recorded
- Seek — Scrub through the recording
- Duration — See total recording length
- Current time — See playback position
Controls

Audio Transcription
After recording, the audio can be transcribed to text using AI:
- Automatic transcription when AI features are enabled
- Streaming transcription results
- Editable transcription text
Audio recording requires microphone permission from your browser. The first time you use it, your browser will prompt for permission.
